Description:

Medical Cannabis has been legal and available for private prescription in the UK since November 2018. Prescriptions are currently issued by specialist doctors and can be considered for patients who have exhausted all traditional methods of treatment.


Unlike over-the-counter CBD food grade products, medical cannabis can contain levels of both THC, CBD as well as any other naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. Treatment is prescribed to meet the individual needs of the patient and where there is clinical evidence to support it's need.


Medical cannabis may be available for people with the following indications:

  • Pain conditions – chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, Ehlers Danlos syndromes, fibromyalgia, chronic regional pain syndrome, migraines, cluster headaches, neuropathic pain, palliative care.


  • Psychiatric conditions – attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, autistic spectrum disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, insomnia, anxiety, agoraphobia, depression.


  • Cancer – cancer related appetite loss, anxiety, chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting, cancer related pain, depression, palliative care.


  • Gastrointestinal conditions – Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome.


  • Neurological conditions – autistic spectrum disorder, epilepsy (adults / children), migraine, cluster headache, multiple sclerosis, neuropathic pain, Parkinson’s disease.


Medical Cannabis Products:

We offer a range of medical cannabis products, after establishing your eligibility for medical cannabis, together with a clinician you can decide what product is right for you. All products come in a range of strengths to best suit your needs.


The two main forms of medical cannabis are:


Dried Cannabis: Dried cannabis is heated to turn the oils into a vapour that is smoked, this is a good option for anyone looking for faster relief from symptoms or wanting to avoid the cannabis reaching their stomach or bowels.


Cannabis Oils: Oils come in a range of strengths and formulas. They enable you to manage the dose more, increasing or decreasing depending on the relief and side effects you experience. Oils can be placed under your tongue, absorbed into your mouth, or mixed into foods.

How it works:

Step 1

Fill out the inquiry form below, a clinician will review your details and contact you to book a consultation.


Step 2

You will speak to a specialist clinician via video call from the comfort of your own home. We will assess your needs and your suitability for medical cannabis. The team of expert consultants will then review your care for approval.


Step 3

If you are considered eligible, the clinic will issue a private prescription for medical cannabis to collect via our pharmacy.

Pricing

Access sceheme:

  • Initial consultation £50

  • First follow up £50

  • Quarterly check up £50

  • No fee for a repeat prescription


Average cost of treatment:

To help patients understand the likely cost of treatment, we have outlined the average cost to a patient with chronic pain. The cost of medication will vary on an individual patient bases.

  • £193/Month (Inclusive of appointments and medication)

  • £6.36/Day (Inclusive of appointments and medication)

Prescription for medical cannabis is subject to eligibility, this will be decided after a consultation with a clinician.
