Excessive Underarm Sweating

£299

Description

Excessive underarm sweating is a condition where the underarms produce more sweat than necessary, often without physical exertion or heat. It can be managed through treatments like Botox, which helps reduce sweating by blocking the sweat glands.

What is Botox?

Botox is a treatment that uses botulinum toxin to temporarily relax muscles. It is most commonly used in cosmetic procedures to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, especially on the face. Botox can also be used to treat conditions like excessive sweating.

How can Botox help?

Botox is an effective treatment for excessive underarm sweating. By targeting the sweat glands, Botox temporarily blocks the signals that trigger sweating, offering relief for those who struggle with excessive perspiration. Administered through injections, it provides a non-surgical solution to help manage sweating in the underarm area. During your consultation, our experienced clinicians will assess your needs and determine if Botox is the right choice to help you stay dry and confident.

Timeline and Expected results

Botox can last for 4-6 months but effectiveness starts to decrease from 2-3 months, with noticeable improvements visible within 3 to 14 days after treatment, making it a popular choice for those looking to smooth and refresh the area.

Product administered

50 units of Botox are injected superficially into the armpit, with 1-2 units per injection, evenly spaced 1-2 cm apart.
